Our custom process
Know what to expect when booking Bloom Press for your custom wedding stationery project.

When you fill out an inquiry form or get in touch with us directly, we start by gathering some information about your wedding, what you have in mind for your dream stationery, and schedule a quick chat to discuss ideas and timelines.

Once you’re officially booked as a Bloom Press client, we’ll spend some time getting to know you and your love story. It is our belief that drawing inspiration from real elements of your lives leads to the most impactful results. We also provide some guidance for culling inspiration and references. Then you get to sit back and let us do what we do best, figuring out a beautiful way to bring all the ideas onto paper.

Once we’ve landed on a design, we put everything together in one document, represented at exact scale with all the specs listed for each item. You’ll take some time to review all the details, share it with whomever you’d like (we always recommend a few sets of eyes to proof-read!), and confirm everything is approved for print!

Once we have final sign-off on all of the proofs, we order materials and begin our production. The timeline of this phase is dependent on the level of complexity of the design, number of pieces, and print methods involved, but at minimum we require 15 business days for a typical production.

After each item has been printed and checked for quality and consistency, we carefully package everything up for shipment.

With your complete custom suite items you will also receive an assembly and mailing guide. Some couples enjoy assembling their invitations together as a fun date night! If you’re not a fan of this sometimes tedious task, we also offer optional assembly and mailing services. We’ll assemble your suite to the same execution and standards of a sample we mail to you for approval. If you’d like us to mail your invitations as well, we’ll confirm with our local postal office to verify correct postage costs, apply postage, and drop them off for you.
